Hell knows

Where are you going? Little boat with no rudder.

What are you seeking? Treasure hunter with no map.

Why are you crying? Weeper with no cause.

Why do you hold on? Dreamer with shattered dreams.

Why do you thread a slippery path? You bear footed cripple.

Every child has a mother,

Every lake, a source.

We are not dead seeds with a purpose.

Hell knows we are not!

Wisdom 101 - lesson 1 : Always be attentive

Open your eyes and be attentive. Always look out for the signs. Trust no one but your instincts, do not belittle that small voice within. It whispers caution and warnings when everything seems deceitfully calm on the surface. Some call it the 6th sense. I just call it careful observation and logical defensive response.

However, many a times we choose to ignore that voice. We foolishly tell ourselves, “He/she would never do such a thing to me, our friendship is deep”, or,”We’ve made a promise with each other, he/she will honour that promise.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that it’s not good to give people the benefit of the doubt. Give it to them, BUT, do not let your guard down. Always pay attention to the signs. Why? Because people change.

Observe how he/she treats other people. Does he/she tell lies to others to get the desired goal? Does he/she step on others to climb to the top? Does he/she speak words so sweet just to charm others momentarily, so that they would do his/her bidding? If the answer is “yes”, then be sure that one day, he/she will do the exact same thing to you.

I have a simple analogy: If I am the 3rd party of a relationship and the girl is willing to leave the guy she’s originally with to be with me, what makes me think that this girl will not leave me to be with another guy one fine day? Wake up people! If you see from a distance that the train tracks were being tampered with, would you not jump off the train well before it derails and turn into and flaming ball of flesh and metal? We all get hurt one way or the other. So be nice to yourself and choose the path that minimizes your own suffering.

Why so downcast o my soul? Why the worries? Can’t you see there is nothing to worry about? He has us covered. Take the time to enjoy Him.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height or depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Restless - A collage of everyday sounds mixed and mashed together. A reflection of our everyday life, the order of chaos, the restlessness of urban living.

Yes, i finally named it. Its official too. I am now the proud owner and manager of Eaglesong Music Studio. Where work and play co-exist.
